Privacy policy

In short: the Sentraxi app keeps your watchlist, practice trades and settings on your own phone. We don't sell your information, show ads or track you across other apps. To fetch prices, news and translations, the app sends the names of the stocks you follow to the data services listed below.
Who we are
Sentraxi is a market-news and practice-trading app. This policy covers the Sentraxi mobile app and the website sentraxi.com. You can reach us at hello@sentraxi.com.
What stays on your phone
The app stores the following only on your device, in the app's own storage:
- Your watchlist and the stocks you star.
- Your practice (demo) account and its trades. No real money is involved.
- Your settings, such as language.
- Cached prices, news and signal history, so the app works faster and uses less data.
We don't receive copies of this information. If you uninstall the app, it is deleted from your phone. If you use the app's export button, the file goes wherever you choose to save it.
What the app sends to other services
To show live information, the app contacts these services directly. They receive the stock or currency symbols being looked up and standard technical details any internet request carries, such as your IP address. They don't receive your name or email from us.
- Market data and news: Alpha Vantage, Finnhub, Financial Modeling Prep and CoinGecko.
- Translation and the voice assistant: when you read news in Arabic or ask Sentraxi Voice a question, the text of the headline or your question, along with the relevant scores from the app, is sent to Anthropic's Claude service to produce the answer or translation.
- Speech recognition: if you use voice input, your phone's built-in speech service turns your speech into text. On most Android phones this is provided by Google under Google's own privacy terms.
Each service handles data under its own privacy policy.
Microphone
The app asks for microphone access only so you can speak to Sentraxi Voice. It listens only while you are using voice input. You can turn microphone access off at any time in your phone's settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
The waitlist on sentraxi.com
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Sentraxi opens and send occasional launch updates. The form is handled by our website host, Netlify. You can ask us to remove your email at any time by writing to hello@sentraxi.com, and every email we send will include a way to opt out.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't show advertising.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Not investment advice
Sentraxi scores describe the tone of published news. They are not a recommendation to buy or sell, and practice-portfolio results do not guarantee future returns.
Age
Sentraxi is meant for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
